Welcome to Beast Made Clothing! My name is Sam Bredenbeck and my brother’s name is Jake Bredenbeck, we are the Founders of BMC. We wanted to write our first blog post to give you guys a better idea of who we are and why we created the Beast Made Movement. So bare with us since we are not published authors! Without further ado, let’s begin!
Jake and I, since we can remember, have dreamt about opening a business together and although we had rough, crazy ideas, we never knew exactly what it would be. We had ideas floating around on and off for years and nothing ever came of them because we did not live together. Jake went off to college and after graduating he started playing on the Professional Racquetball Tour. As he continued to move up the ranks and become more well known in the sport he was coined with a few nicknames along the way. One of those nicknames was “The Beast”, which we did not know at the time would end up being the starting place we had always been looking for. As Jake continued to tour he wanted a way to separate himself from the other players both on and off the court. So he came up with an idea for a personal logo that would help brand him. This logo was a “beast” that incorporated his initials and played perfectly off of his given nickname. Once his logo came to fruition he started bouncing ideas off of me for a clothing line and name based around his logo. After we had gone back and forth for a while, on and off once again, something awesome happened.
It was February 22nd, 2019 and I was at my girlfriend’s parents' home when my phone lit up with Jake’s name. Of course, I answered and we started joking around back and forth as we always do and then he said it! “You are part owner of a legal business now!” WHAT?! I laughed and got all excited and sure enough, Beast Made Clothing LLC was created and along with that, the Beast Made Movement.
As with most things in our lives, and I am sure many of yours, we embarked on a journey of needing to figure things out as we went along. Still to this day and for many years to come we will continue learning, evolving, progressing and that is exciting. That is what the Beast Made Movement and Beast Made Clothing is all about, improving and becoming superior to your former self. It is about taking accountability and making the conscious decision to go beyond what you think are your limitations and make daily improvement not only a habit but a lifestyle.
