Tomorrow marks a day that will be forever remembered - September 11th, 2001.
It has been 23 years since that horrific day. A day that lives in the hearts and minds of Americans and those across the globe. A day that signifies a boiling point of hate, disagreement, and differences.
However, that hate led to a moment in history that demonstrates the seismic power of the human spirit. The epitome of nobility, selflessness, bravery, courage, and generosity. That hate led to September 12th, 2001.
On that day, an entire nation rallied together.
On September 12th, 2001...
- It didn't matter who you were ~ rich or poor. famous or unknown. young or old.
- It didn't matter where you were from ~ rural or urban. hamptons or bronx. penthouse or street.
- It didn't matter what you believed ~ God or not. democrat or republican. conspiracies or not.
What mattered was the health of your loved ones.
What mattered was lending a hand to those in need.
What mattered was humans supporting other humans.
September 12th, 2001 showed every living person what is possible when we put aside what we think matters for what truly matters. The human experience is not meant to be filled with hate and division. It is aimed to be filled with experiences, adventure, and noble intentions. It is intended to enrich the moments in which we can be of service and provide value.
If it were up to us, we would push people to live like it is September 12th, 2001.
Help others. Express gratitude. Love those around you. Appreciate your community. Give back. Take accountability. Show compassion. Be courageous.
The only cost to those actions is one's ego, pride, and perceptions.
The world needs people like you. The pillars of the community. The example. The role model. The lighthouse.
The world needs a beacon of hope, strength, and courage. It needs quality, integrity, loyalty, discipline, and relentless fortitude—all core values of Odisi. All core values of this community—your community—the Odisi Family. The world also needs to Enjoy the Journey, the core principal of Odisi.
The world needs you.
